Preparation for orchestra auditions | Erich BINDER

This preaparation course for orchestra auditions ist open to all students or graduates of a Conservatory / Music University and Instrumental teachers, wishing to further develop or “refresh” their musical, technical and interpretation skills and to prepare an orchestra audition.

Achieving progress in technique and interpretation, better understanding of spesific topics related to the orchestra playing procedure build the main purpose of this course. Advice about proper body positions, solution to technical problems, development of a finer touch sensibility and a dialectical analysis of various approaches of interpretation are embodied to our teaching pursuits.

The mental planning and discovering of the “suitable”, for each piece, orchestra sound, the growing and expanding of personal music horizons, the searching and applying of complex interpreting approaches, are additional parts of our lessons.

Due to the limited number of participants in every class (12), we strongly recommend as quick a registration as possible.

Course charges

As 1st main subject: € 450,-; this price includes the registration & lesson fees und up to two activities free of charge.

As 2nd main subject (in addition to another course of the same period, chosen as 1st main subject) or per additional daily lesson (recommended for advanced pupils and for preparation of competitions or examinations): € 350,-.

Overnight and boarding packages

Overnight fees incl. breakfast:
shared room € 300 | double room € 425 | single room € 500.

Half board (lunch or dinner) € 140 | full board € 210.
