… he studied at the Regional Conservatory of Carinthia in the class of Prof. Johannes Kalkreuth and finished both degrees (music education and concert performance) with distinction. Continuing his studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg he has been admitted to the class of Prof. Irena Grafenauer, where he made his master’s degree in concert performance, also with distinction.
Master classes with internationally reknown artists such as Peter Lukas Graf (Bern, Salzburg), Andras Adorjan (Frankfurt), Michael Martin Kofler (Viktring), Alain Marion (Nizza), Wolfgang Schulz (Wien) and Irena Grafenauer (Judenburg, Portoroz).
International concert activity as soloist, member of chamber music ensembles and Orchestras, a.o. the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Carinthia, Salzburger Kammerphilharmonie, Ensemble “P3“, Trio Diabolico, the chamber Orchestra of the austrian Broadcast Company, the SWD chamber orchestra, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Ensemble Wien.
He has appeared as solosit with the chamber Orchestra of Villach, the Carinthian Military Orchestra, the Collegium Musicum Carinthia and with the Gustav Mahler Ensemble Wien.
Recordings for various Radios such as ÖRF-Ö1 and several CD-Productions with Elena Denisova and Alexei Kornienko.
He also participated in the festivals of Tilbourg (Holland), Wernberger Kulturtage Köblitz, Kultursommer Riedenburg, Kultursommer Bad Wörishofen, Neues Musikforum Viktring, Carinthischer Sommer and he is the artistic director of the “Musikerlebniswoche Glödnitz- Flattnitz”.
He teaches flute at the Regional Music Schools of Carinthia and has been invited as juror to the Prima la Musica youth competition.
