Sabine REITER | Violin, Viola & String orchestra
(Regional Music Schools of Upper Austria)
was born in Linz and got her first violin lessons at the Conservatory “Anton Bruckner” in Linz at the age of 8. Important impulses for hr career came from her parents and through intense orchestra playing (often as concermaster) with conductors such as Franz Welser-Möst (Jeunesse Orchester Linz, Ensemble Aktuell).
After finishing the school, she studied at the Soloist and the Educational Section at the Mozarteum University, with Jürgen Geise and, later on, at the Vienna Music University, with Gerhard Schulz.
Intense work as member of chamber music ensembles (among others with David Trio, Quartett Diagonal and Quartetto Serioso). Since 2003 she is member of L`Orfeo Barockorchester. Recordings for CD-Releases, Broadcasting recordings for TV- and radio stations and concert tours in Austria and abroad with L`Orfeo Barockorchester and Quartett Diagonal.
Sabine Reiter teaches since 1982 at the Regional Music Schools of Upper Austria (Landesmusikschule Gmunden).
