Estelle Lefranc-Syringelas was born in Paris in a family of musicians and had her first violin lessons at the age of four, from her grandfather, an orchestra conductor.
At the age of six she started systematically her violin and chamber music studies at the Regional Conservatories of Versailles and Rouen, completing her school education with main subject French Literature and music in Rouen, in 1995. She went on with her violin (soloist and music education) studies at Mozarteum University in Salzburg and she completed studies of Musicology at Sorbonne University in Paris.
During her studies she got a scholarship from Rotary Club and in 1997 she was awarded the “Pellecat” prize (Prix de la Vocation-Inclination prize) by the French Academy of Rouen.
As highlights to her up to now artistic life count, among others, the foundation of various Ensembles [(Ensemble “Novartis”(2000), Trio “Ars Viva”(2003), “Sinfonietta Salzburg”(2006)], her long collaboration with the “collegium musicum” Orchestra, under Univ. Prof. A. Anglberger, Salzburg, her participation as soloist, member of chamber music ensembles or orchestra member in several European countries as well as the worldwide première in Salzburg (2007), together with the composer, Professor at the Mozarteum University, O.H. Prof. Ladislaus Piekarz, of the dedicated to her sonata for violin and piano.
Long teaching experience, among others, at the Music Schools of the Land of Salzburg (Musikum), St. Gilgen International School, at courses in Austria and abroad (Rencontres Musicales des Monts Dore in France, Orchestermeisterklasse fur junge Streicher in Radstadt – Austria).
She conducts the accordo youth string orchestra and is artistic and pedagogic director of the “austrian arts academy” association, since its foundation (2009) and also its President since 2012.
Her students have been many times distinguished at youth competitions and examinations in Austria and have been admitted to Austrian Universities.
She speaks and teaches in French, German, English and Greek.
